albergui13 0 Posted June 21, 2022 Hello All, I am new to the forum. I have had a pretty bad two weeks that as of yesterday started to turn around. I am becoming more like my old self but I just wanted to post and hope this helps someone who might have or is going through this same thing. Even though how I presented with symptoms isn't anything I have read or known the fact the anxiety is all the same. About two weeks ago I tested positive for COVID. Started having the fever and body aches, however I started getting brain zaps, which i get when i skip a few dozes of my Paxil. This time I hadn't and it was so bad that I became terrified. Once the COVID went away so did the brain zaps. The only thing is, I became stuck with the anxiety. At the moment I am still not sure what I'm anxious about. It has been more of the fear of having a panic attack. I am starting to recover, even though I still have a little bit of anxiety that comes and goes I can still go through my day normally. Anxiety will peak it's head in situations when you least expect it. The best thing is to be prepared and get the treatment that best works for you. I see a therapist now and I am still on the Paxil. This amount of anxiety hadn't happened in over two years but it is subsiding faster than before. Thank you all for taking the time to read my post.
