Anxiety Man 1 Posted May 21, 2019 Not sure if I'm allowed to say this, but I was a long-time member of the former "Anxiety Zone". That site helped me tremendously, and I'm glad to see there are other places to connect with like-minded sufferers😁 I had several years of generalized anxiety that morphed into horrible, debilitating health-anxiety, back in 2012. All the "symptoms", all the "diseases", and all the self-checking and googling. That's when I joined the site [Anxiety Zone]. I overcame that issue, eventually, and have been free for years, until recently when I started to exhibit bizarre panic symptoms after drinking alcohol. I'm 43, and seemed to have developed an intolerance within the last year. It feels like our mental health is like a garden that needs to be manicured on a regular basis. Otherwise, if we let it go, the weeds and pests do come back, and with a vengeance. The interesting thing about anxiety is that it seems to always have a new face, a new ghost to haunt us. Nice to meet you.
JOYCICLE 654 Posted May 21, 2019 Hello. Many of us began the journey at AZ. You're allowed to say it. This site was founded as an alternative when many of us were forced out of AZ, in fact. Glad you're with us.

Sometimes it's really important to know we're not alone.
