madtowncard 40 Posted November 4, 2015 Does anyone get these at times. it was so powerful this morning I felt like I was lifeless or just floating in air it was very scary. With the sensations came a panic attack that was intense and I started to think once again am I going to die? I was so upset. I told myself from here on out I'm going to do all the things that I need to do to truly recover. Back to my questions has anyone felt like this? Out of body watching from another place. Totally freaked out say "no no not now" I'm really shakin by this.
NickOfTime 0 Posted November 4, 2015 Just had this happen to me a little over 2 weeks ago. I did exactly what you did and went into total panic mode. I even went to the ER because I didn't know what was happening. This also put me into a huge depression and made my anxiety sky rocket. I went to Dr and he put me on depression and anxiety meds. I'm hoping to get into therapy soon. You're are not alone and I'm glad I found someone with a similar experience. If you need someone to talk to just message me. I find it very relieving to just talk to people and just knowing you're not alone. Best of luck..like I said my message box is open if you just wanna chat. Mark G 1187 Posted November 4, 2015 These are a very common symptom of anxiety. They are caused very simply, by a tired mind. When your anxious, you use up a lot of energy, you can deplete your days supply in minutes. When your mind is tired, it start sending and receiving erroneous signals from the brain and also misinterprets. It's a defence mechanism. The important thing us that, although it feels horrible, it is harmless, completely harmless and goes when your anxiety lessens. At the moment you fear it intensify it. When it comes on next time, just see it, experience it but don't fear it, it soon calms down.
Bones0013 43 Posted November 4, 2015 I experience this also. It doesn't happen often but isn't pleasant when it does. For along time I didn't know what was going on until my psychiatric nurse explained it to me. I've had depression, anxiety, panic. . .for many many years. Had it for so long that I thought it was a part of my depression and anxiety. There are so many symptoms that go along with anxiety that any sensations I get I blame it on anxiety. So far, when I am experiencing these they are gone by the next day. Hang in there!
