I'm not a big Tim Burton fan, and I never really watched the show, but the previews look great, and I'd like to think Johnny Depp wouldn't do anything that's stupid (as most comedies seem to be these days). What I'm excited about is that Tim Burton has mixed his creative characters and setting we usually see from him with comedy so this movie will probably be quite different from his other stuff. The first Tim Burton I see was 'The Nightmare Before Christmas', I watched it a few days before christmas when I was a kid, one of the most memorable films of my childhood. I haven't seen the trailer for Dark Shadows, what is it about? I enjoyed The Nightmare Before Christmas too. I'm not to sure about the actual storyline but from what I've seen in the trailer Dark Shadows is about vampires but it has sort of a comedy feel to it. farrah 2 Posted May 9, 2012 You know I usually don't go to see these types of movies. But it has 2 key elements that intrugue me. One, is that it is set from the 70's, and two, is well, I can't resist Johnny Depp.OK, they had me at Johnny Depp, lol I just didn't want it to seem so obvious. I have thoroughly enjoyed every single Tim Burton film I've ever watched and my favorite is Sweeny Todd. I love musicals, so it was that much more entertaining.
