Thrufaith 9 Posted August 23, 2025 Hi So I went to the ER because I was having calf pain. They did my blood work and everything came back normal except for my AST and ALT. My AST came back at 86 and my ALT came back at 92. I am worried. I am over weight. I went in with calf pain and fear of a blood clot and all was normal thank God! The doctor didnt mention my liver enzymes but now I am freaking out. I was dehydrated when they did the blood work and I did have calf pain. I AM SCARED I COULD HAVE HAD A HEART ATTACK OR LIVER FAILURE OR SOMETHING SERIOUS!!!! Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I am not a doctor, but I looked it up (without anxiety). The Augmentin likely caused the elevated enzyme levels, and it is still in the zone of time after stopping the meds. They will return to normal. No liver problems that aren't fixing themselves now.
