Parents of tweens

So yesterday while I was out (my husband was working from home) my son whose 12, said he walked into the kitchen and felt like his body shut down and fell.  My husband heard what happened and went downstairs right away and asked what happened and my son told him but that he was fine.  I asked if he blacked out and he said no, his eyes were open the whole time, and he remembers falling and getting up and talking with my husband.  Anyway we took him to the Dr last night to be looked at and she said he seems ok but ordered an EKG to be safe.  Mostly at my request, she originally she wasn't going to.  Has something like this happened to any of their children?  I'll be taking him for the EKG this afternoon.

I am sure everything will turn out OK and good luck and let us know how everything turns out.

Took him for his EKG yesterday afternoon and we get the results within 2-3 days.  I thought about asking the tech but then decided against it.  They let us leave which I'm hoping is a good sign.  I just can't help but have a bad feeling about this.

I also googled what normal/abnormal EKG look like, but I'm not a cardiologist so I really don't know what I'm looking at.  So I'm just going to sit and stew until I hear from them.

I fainted the first time I had blood drawn.  It was dehydration.

So I left a msg with the pediatrician seeing if they got the results back.  So we'll see

I would have thought you would know EKG results immediately.  The blood testing was part of a series of tests and three ER visits I had in July 2016 for a inner eye hemorrhage.  They did the EKG and didn't say anything about it at all.  No news is good news.

So the ped called and said the test was poor quality.  It also showed that the left ventrical was enlarged but that could just be because the test was bad so we have to repeat it which we are doing now.  We are leaving soon.

So we just got back a little while ago.  Tech said normal sinus rythum.  I did ask about the part that looked longer and she said it could be the angle of his heart on the chest wall.  Anyway, the Dr has to look and we get the results today
