Trudy 27 Posted February 6, 2021 Good ole health anxiety strikes again. Hubby has type 2 diabetes and his sugar dropped in the middle of the night he was drenched in sweat. I checked it it was 67 I ran and got OJ half a bacon cheeseburger, and a banana its been like a half hour his sweats have stopped but 1 min the meter said 87 now it says 75. Should we wait longer to check it he says he feels better.
MARC 431 Posted February 6, 2021 You could keep an eye on things and see how he feels. I know of a man who did not know he had diabetes as he never went to the doctor and his blood sugar was around 400 and he passed out. He is better now and has lost weight and watches what he eats more carefully and takes medication.
Jessi 24 Posted February 14, 2021 Typically when sugar gets low like that, you should give him a glass of oj and check again in 15-30 min. At least that’s what the dr I work for has me do with my patients who drop.
