Trudy 27 Posted August 13, 2020 Hi all I just dropped my son and husband off at the ER my son is 22 and has been super gassy, heaving up stomach acid, and throwing up off and on since this morning it comes and goes. I am suspecting gallbladder. He at some takeout Monday night and has been crappy since. Of course this has my OCD knocking on the door of my mental hamster wheel. Is anyone who can offer calming advice. Oh and PS I our 16yr old daughter had oral surgery today. Top 2 wisdoms out with anesthesia. So I am nursing on her as well. Holls 1505 Posted August 13, 2020 Food poisoning possibly? I know how bad the anxiety is with ourselves, but so much more intense when it's about the kids. Hugs. Keep us updated if you don't mind.

Trudy 27 Posted August 13, 2020 Trudy1021 08/13/2020 Sooo the ER jumped on the covid bandwagon. And put him on a 2 WK bedroom quarantine. They pretty much didn't pay the gallstone possibility any mind. All of his labs were excellent. And he had no temp. So now we wait for the covid results. I have a standing Tuesday appt via phone with my therapist. Needless to say I had to do an emergency session today
MARC 431 Posted August 14, 2020 My physician told me that gallbladder pain is typically on the right side under the rib and can radiate to the back.

Trudy 27 Posted September 11, 2020 Dr just called gallbladder liver pancreas are all fine and normal but the saw calcium in his kidney. So now he needs a CAT scan and blood work to figure out why. Of course I am fighting the urge to google and intrusive thoughts. I haven't the slightest idea of what calcium in a kidney means. The dr said its something worth addressing now because as he gets older it can cause kidney disease. My son is
MARC 431 Posted September 12, 2020 I am glad your son's liver, gallbladder and pancreas are OK. Maybe calcium can cause Kidney stones or he is ingesting too much calcium.
Trudy 27 Posted September 13, 2020 I was thinking the same thing about the stone.
