Vandelsrock21 104 Posted September 27, 2019 Good to have the resource back again and hear from you all. I have the tingling in the face again. Last night it was really bad. Today when discussing a flooding issue with one of are flooding issues it started again. My finger and tongue also started to tingling. I almost panicked and left the conversation. Could I be having mini strokes or something. It is unnerving.
Mrsrpmddo 222 Posted September 27, 2019 I had tingling in my face for two weeks straight. Called my doctor about it daily, I have had it before through the years. She told me it’s anxiety. Maybe some sinus issues too. It finally went away when I stopped worrying about it. I’ll bet you’re fine too. Try to distract yourself, I know that’s hard when your face is tingling. ❤️

Vandelsrock21 104 Posted September 28, 2019 I find it interesting how much worse it got with stress. I guess it should calm me knowing anxiety induces it.
sTeaLth 238 Posted September 30, 2019 Just to add to this... I also get tingles and twitches with stress. They no longer scare me, my anxiety has moved to new places, but when I am in a stressed situation I notice tingles and twitches in random locations. Normal, especially with stress, and DEFINITELY with someone known to suffer from health anxiety. Don't let it cause you another moments grief.
AkM 39 Posted September 30, 2019 No bad from checking your B12 levels maybe it's low and causing all the tingling.
Copperpot 0 Posted October 2, 2019 This is one of the most upsetting things I get and it’s very hard to except it’s anxiety. I still don’t understand it. I tingle and burn all over. I also get strange cold sensations, chills, and get odd feelings in muscles and little muscle twitches. It really doesn’t sound that horrible but it is deeply unpleasant and really spikes my anxiety. Maybe the toughest part is being around others and trying to pretend you are okay while it feels like someone put pop rocks in your veins! I don’t get why it lingers even when I am calm... I have not found anything to help it so far.

I try to act happy all the time but I always end up turning super wierd. I get friends going what's wrong as I sit in silence and nothing just relaxing but it's far from it. Its really hard to find this strength to continue on some times
