Ruu 39 Posted January 25, 2019 Hi all! It's been a while, it's been a pretty good year here. But on Wednesday I had an impacted wisdom tooth taken out, all went well, lots of pain over the past couple of days as to be expected, but today I bent down too far, felt the clot get disturbed and now it's bleeding again. Is it supposed to bleed 2 days later? I feel like thats not a good sign and now it's going to get infected. Thanks all!

The bleeding can go on and on for quite some time. Allow it to clot again and then just be careful. If you are concerned though, you can call the dentist. They will let you know what they recommend. Ruu 39 Posted January 25, 2019 Thanks @sTeaLth! I gave them a call, instructions to bite down on some gauze for 30 minutes, if it still hasn’t stopped then go to the hospital to have it checked out. Its not too bad, it seems just if I open my mouth too wide or anything that disturbs it. Just need to stay super still and keep my mouth shut 😅

It was super annoying for months afterward.

I naively thought it would be relatively simple, sit down, tooth out, go home and all is well. I wasn’t expecting days/weeks/months of recovery 😅
