I think it's best to have a separate thread for discussion of the movie. Spoilers allowed, you have been warned!! I loved it, from beginning to end. I love how the 2 main characters had the most 'severe' cases of mental illness but they appear the most normal. How everyone in the movie had some form of anxiety disorder or personality disorder or depressive disorder but were considered normal compared to the main character, just because he had been in the hospital. It helps that Patrick and Tiffany are both incredibly hot lol but I loved their relationship. Was a little disappointed we didn't get to see some sex scenes but I guess that would take away from the beauty of it. De Niro was De Niro, as always, but he made me laugh. I'm really crap at writing how I perceive a movie lol I just thought it was great, cool, funny, sweet. The movie was a little crazy itself, just like the characters, but I think that was the point. Crazy is nothing bad, nothing to be ashamed of and something that we all are a little bit too.

I had heard a lot about 'Silver Linings Playbook', a lot of good things. But I'm always skeptical of what critics say so I wanted to reserve judgement until I could watch it myself. I finally watched it last night. I don't want to spoiler it for anyone but it's a fantastic movie and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone, but if you suffer a mental illness it's a muse see!!
