Thanks all! Though Ellebel, I think you just called me old 😉 Just kidding! I know what you mean. Hopefully that is all it is.

Thanks guys! I will keep an eye on it and give it some more time. Just so odd. And I know it's a weird thing to worry about, I've been so good for so long, but I honestly do not bruise. Ever. Broken bones, surgeries, blood tests, general clumsiness, never a bruise. So it caught me by surprise.

Yes I know, I can't believe I am writing about a bruise. The thing is, I do NOT bruise. EVER. I have broken bones and you couldn't even tell, I just don't bruise. A few days ago, I had this little bruise pop up on my forearm. I don't remember hitting anything (and for me to bruise, I would have had to hit pretty hard) and it hasn't changed at all, no sign of lightening up at all. It's about the size of a dime. No lump with it, doesn't hurt to press on it, nothing like that. It's kind of a light pinkish-brown bruisy color. If I were a person that bruised, I wouldn't care, but I don't. And this popped up out of nowhere and isn't showing any signs of going away so far.

Thank you! I appreciate that! And the second half will go just fine! I would think keeping 4 kids entertained would be the hardest part!

The cramping is really common with PCOS, especially if you aren't getting your period. Please try not to worry (I know, easier said than done) and just get in when you can. And if they get concerning, remind yourself that you are SUPPOSED to get your period, so your body is reacting to not getting it.

I would definitely look into that. The cramping, if it was caused by ovarian cancer, wouldn't be subsided by eating, so you can reassure yourself there. If you can, make the appt. Even if it is a drive, you won't have to see them very often (probably every 3 months at first). But it will be worth it to get to the bottom of this.

I totally sympathize. I am waiting on a biopsy and I woke up in the middle of the night, not because of anxiety, but once I was awake, the anxiety hit hard and I ended up getting sick. It's nerve wracking and makes it feel even worse because now I haven't gotten a lot of sleep. You WILL be fine though. You'll make the drive with no problem!

If you have a high probability for PCOS, then that would cause the period irregularity too. I have PCOS. it sucks. It messes with your whole endocrine system and a lot of times with your gastrointestinal. Can you make an appt with an endocrinologist?

nicole97 started following Mole Biopsy Freak Out
-
Just for a little background....I am fair, light brownish hair and light colored eyes. I have a lot of moles and I've had a lot of sun damage in my younger years (I'm 41 now). The past couple years, I have been diligent about seeing a dermatologist. Early last year, one of the moles that was removed came up "severely atypical - cannot rule out early evolving melanoma with certainty", so I had to go back and get more skin removed. Since then, I have had a couple that came up moderately atpyical, still causing more skin removal. That I don't mind, I would rather have scars and get rid of it. I had my 3 month skin check a couple days ago (since the possible melanoma, they have me on a 3 month schedule) and I showed her one that my husband said looked a little angry (slightly red) on my back. She removed it and the whole time was telling me what will happen if it comes back moderately or severely atypical (which she knows I already know) and then kind of mumbled that she doesn't think it's melanoma. I kind of felt like she is anticipating it to come back as SOMETHING. And now I'm freaking out. I woke up in the middle of the night (husband's snoring) and as I laid there, I just felt the huge wash of anxiety and I had to get up and go throw up. I am so scared of what it might come back as.
