I am not really worried about this symptom, but I am curious if other people are experiencing this. For the past couple of weeks, I have been having pain whenever I swallow a cold drink once it hits my stomach. It only happens when I have swallowed it and lasts for only a couple seconds. It can be water or carbonated drinks. But if I drink anything room temperature or warm, it doesn’t happen. I cannot tell yet if it happens with something like ice cream. Just wanting to see if other people are dealing with this! Thanks

Feel like I'm struggling to read, other word problems.

Hey there. I do this sometimes, and I'm 17 and not dyslexic. My grandmother has AZ and she never has these problems (We've seen the whole thing progress) ever! She might say something and meant another but could not think of what she was actually trying to say. I've not read anything about it, seeing as my age doesn't make it very concerning, but you really shouldn't worry about it! Try to relax, I'd imagine anxiety can make it worse. (I make mistakes the most when anxious.) -
Thank you, Diane. I honestly thought I'd be hit with the fatigue earlier. I thought I might have gotten lucky! Oh well, trying not to exert myself. - Robyn

Ah, now the fatigue has hit me. I totally understand how bad it can feel now

Hi. Yes I did post on both, heh... also no, they are very singular. While I mentioned before they're turning brown, that was just lighting, but the one that was most noticeable is shrinking. They're also in small groups, singular enough that I could number them. I'm not as worried as I was. Hoping I just don't wake up with more or something. Also, as far as I remember this is my first experience with the flu, and it's not been too too bad. I haven't felt like "death" more like a bad cold with more aches than usual. I haven't had a fever since I got diagnosed so I am going to school tomorrow (but it's not real classes, they're special courses that we sign up for that are fun and none of mine require too much energy) I'm pretty sure I'm fine. I'm just trying to stop worrying!

I was wearing a regular cotton t-shirt. I've recently (yes I googled...) found out that petechiae rashes can be from type A influenza under H1N1 which, from what I can tell, is the most prevalent variant of type A. As far as I know, I don't move much when I sleep and I don't care for laying on my right side. I'm trying not to worry... I've had health anxiety since the beginning of high school and I only have two months left! It runs in the family. My biggest fear is usually leukemia (probably because a girl who is a year younger than me at school had it, but is in full remission), so this was a big spike for anxiety. If I hadn't tested positive for flu then I may have been even more worried! The dots seem to be fading now? They're turning brown. Thank you for your comments.

Hi, all. I've just registered to this site. Yesterday I was diagnosed by a NP with type A flu (tested positive). I'm 17, female, and overweight. I've had the typical symptoms and the fever seems to have gone down. This morning though I discovered some petechiae rashes on my right arm, upper and lower (no where else) I know the difference between small red dots from sun exposure to this. Should I be worried? Thanks for your help they seem to be popping up out of nowhere.
