dizzy spells and shaky legs

I was really bad like this at one time in my life. I have learned to let it run its course, it will eventually subside and you can go about the task at hand. The worst thing you can do is run away, this only teaches you to stay in a state of fear and panic. Also get a good book on CBT and read it completely. -
Panic & Depression - Anything to help?
SHUCK replied to HDBobbers's topic in Panic Disorder and Agoraphobia
Dude just keep your head up, I know its rough as I go through the same things sometimes. I also cut caffeine out and also any kind of soda, the only thing I drink is water of decaf tea and that's about it. As far as the insulting woman, just realize that she is the one that doesn't understand and probably has more problems than hooker in church on Sunday! -
Amen to that, I am the same way, if people think im crazy or not normal for telling them about certain aspects of my life, then so be it. I don't really care any more! Anyway, I must go drink some milk now to increase my Serotonin levels

New to the group and physical anxiety symptoms
SHUCK replied to CrudenS's topic in Introduce Yourself
Just know your not alone. And yes, anxiety can lead to many different symptoms. I had many of the symptoms you described at one time or another and believe me they do subside. Exercise was the key for me, every time I start feeling bad I get up and go outside and breath deeply for a few minutes and walk or just do something and reaffirm my self that these are just feelings and they will go away!- 4 replies

If anyone is interested in swapping some music hit me up, I have about 2,500 songs in my media library

Another at work idea is to play a game of Solitar on the computer, it will get your mind on something else

I agree, I have only been on this site for 1 day and I can tell his compassion for Anxiety, and helping others. I have kept a log of every day since 2002 on my computer, it really does help to be able to look back and see what's happened and all the feelings and stuff one would type down in certain states of life. It also helps with mental progress - as in saying to your self (Don't go back to the way you where) and you can keep building on what you have and move forward!

at a lost no where to turn

All of the posts on here are really good, and you are not alone! I want to share with you a scientific approach that I use, in the scientific and medicine community it has been proven that Anxiety and Anger cannot correlate together. With that being said, not just by me right now, but also by psychiatrist, if you can get angry during the times you feel the Anxiety - you can overcome all the anxious feelings and symptoms. Another technique I use is, GET UP AND DO SOMETHING ! Go for a walk, go wash your car, sit outside and read a book. Anxiety wont kill you, just DO Something different than sitting there thinking about it all day and night. -
Oh wow! sounds like you have your hands full, I started remodeling my home back in 2010 and finally got done last year. (4 years) but its well worth it. I get the flying stuff. I wont ever do it again, that's for sure. Did your anxiety come from something in your life or just have you always had it?
-
Yep I get that, I am the same way. I ride alone! and only alone. If someone asks me to go someplace with them the first thing I say is I will meet you there. I have flown once in my life, and I will never do it again. The worst for me is when someone comes to my house, I mean I can handle it, but I just don't like it.

Thanks Bud! If I could just get my profile picture to turn the right way! GRRRRRRR

I cant PM yet, I'm waiting on the admin to let me access that portion of the site

So far this site seams legit. I also believe that traumatic events in ones life leads to anxiety and too much stress also. I'm just glad to see that locations are shown on this site, the last one o was on, they did not show locations and it was a mess because people would message me from England and i would not see the post for hours later lol. Maybe i will PM you this evening if i get a chance.

Yep, I tend to take life from moment to moment ---- things break down easier for me that way. I will deff PM you sometime. I'm new to this site so I am getting use to how its setup. Thanks for your response Wendi
