Hi, I'm new here, I think I have social/general anxiety in some form, though I've never spoken about it to anyone, so I don't have a 'formal diagnosis' of anything, do you even get a diagnosis for anxiety?
Anyway, just looking for somewhere where people are dealing with the same sort of stuff, trying to find ways of stopping this from affecting my life so much, maybe work myself up to actually talk to my doctor about it, and try and get some counselling or something, does anyone have experience with counselling/therapy?Does it actually help?
