  1. I am so sorry you are going through this. It is a very hard and challenging thing to go through especially by yourself. I'm here for you if you Ever need to talk.  Talking about a traumatic event can be soothing but also VERY emotional. I can relate a lil I have not been diagnose by a doctor to have ptsd but I struggle with the symptoms. Two months ago I was involved in a head on collision the other driver was on the wrong side of the road. He died Otw to the hospital but I was the one who heard him gasping and trying to fight for his life I can't get that sound out my head . I couldn't do anything to help because I was in so much in pain from the impact.  I laid in the grass until the paramedics came.  I have good, bad and worse day. But with our support from each other's experience we can get through this together.

    Be blessed

    zyprexa

just wondering if anyone has taken zyprexa for anxiety and how it worked for them and if there were any side effects. i have tried several meds and this is the latest one that i have been put on. i take half of 2.5 tabs for two days then start the whole 2.5. i took my first one last night.
  4. Thank You. I went to the appointment and, it was my second one with this doctor. I am not sure that I will go back. I may seek the same treatment from another professional that does it. I am just not comfortable with this man.
  5. i am going for my first round of emdr using tapping for my PTSD this morning. i have been feeling a lot of anxiety about it, even cancelling my first appointment. has anyone used this method? positives? negatives? any information would help. thanks
  6. i was recently diagnosed with ptsd due to a minor car accident. it has been nearly two months since the incident and i have not been able to return to work or live the life that i used to. i am currently on lexapro 20mg daily and have tried the following...adivan, xanax, klonopin. nothing seems to help. my life has completely changed. i am unable to be in group settings, restaurants, etc for very long times. i have a hard time even being at home with my family. if i am i have to be up and constantly moving. i cannot relax. i sweat a lot, i have high blood pressure now, i feel like im getting shocked, i am dizzy, sometimes hard to breathe, second guess things i have done a million times over and my driving is not like it used to be. i spend my days outdoors doing projects and nights in the garage playing games on my phone. i do not eat much and sleep very little. i drove upon a wreck a couple days ago and ever since then i feel that i have gotten worse. i feel like i am wired and cannot stop. has anyone went through a similar situation, relate to any of my symptoms? thanks
