  1. Just an update. Things were going good for about 3 weeks and then last Friday I had some really bad anxiety (not health related) and every since then I have had the one sided headaches like before. They aren't nearly as bad and don't feel exactly like before, they are just on the same side. I'm not even sure how to describe the pain because it moves around and one day it was my ear that was hurting. It seems to get a little better each day so I'm hoping it was the anxiety that triggered it. I also started my period yesterday so I believe that is part of it as well.
  2. Thanks!! I just want to this to go away and feel normal again. It’s so scary!! And hard to believe that anxiety could cause this!
  3. I went to the doctor a little over a week ago because my anxiety was out of control and I couldn't sleep at night. She prescribed Doxepin at night to help with the sleep. The first two nights it helped some but I was still having trouble falling asleep. The following night I was out of town (which made my anxiety that much worse) and the side of my head hurt/burning feeling all night and I wasn't able to sleep much at all. It was better during the day and then worse again that night when I tried to sleep. The next night was fine and the following day was ok as well. Then I came home from my trip. The pain has been off and on since then. Some nights it bothers me and then others it doesn't. Not always in the same place but always on the same side. Sometimes it hurts sometimes it just feels weird or off. I have convinced myself it is a brain tumor and I'm terrified!!! I'm trying to give the medicine more time to see if that will help. I called the doctor because I still wasn't sleeping well and she told me to double the dose. I have been sleeping better but I still have trouble falling asleep. I dread going to bed at night because I'm afraid of it hurting again. Even now at 5:00 I'm already thinking about what will happen later tonight. I hate this!!!!!!!!!!
  4. @Angelica Schuyler I sent you a private message
  5. I went to a nurse Practitioner. She was very nice and understanding. She looked at my mouth but said she didn’t see anything to worry about. I recently changed toothpaste and she said it could be that. She also said to gargle warm salt water for a few days to see if that helps. I will still probably end up going to the dentist just to be sure. I will also go back in the morning to have some blood work done. It was after lunch so I couldn’t do that today. She gave me a prescription for doxepin
  6. I’m going to the doctor today. My mom is making me but I kinda want to go. I can’t keep living like this. Last night my whole mouth felt like it was burning. I convinced myself I have burning mouth syndrome. This morning it isnt burning just just feels dry and now my headache/face pain is back. I just want to feel normal again.
  7. I feel like I'm the opposite. I am terrified to go to any doctor because I feel like they will tell me I have something horrible. Right now I am having some mouth/gum pain and I really think it could be a wisdom tooth coming in but I am scared to go to dentist even though that is the one doctor I've never had a problem with before.
  8. I can relate to the the feeling of something always being wrong. I just want a normal day where I feel ok and I don't break out in tears numerous times. I have a girls weekend trip coming up and I go back and forth between being excited and feeling anxious about being away from home and my comfort zone.
  9. Well today has been good and bad. The tooth pain was gone this morning but then it felt more like my gums were sore or irritated. I’ve had a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders today. My mom just stop by a few minutes ago. She has been saying for a few days that it could be a wisdom tooth coming in. So I asked her to look and see if my gums looked red and she said she could see the tooth about to breakthrough. She said that could explain all the problems I have had the past few days. The headaches and pressure and tooth pain on that side. I just went to the dentist about a month ago and they did X-rays but they didn’t mention anything about the tooth. Depending on the pain I may call tomorrow and see if I can get in to be seen.
  10. Well the tooth pain has seem to go away but I still feel tightness in my jaw. I tossed and turned all night. Would sleep for an hour and wake up and then took an hour to go back to sleep. I talked to my mom about making a doctors appointment which terrifies me but I can’t keep living like this.
  11. I don’t really have allergies or sinus issues but it could still be that. Im sure I have been clenching my teeth some.
  12. This place is quiet today lol. Quick update. The pain has seem to settle in my teeth. It was really bad earlier. I got some orajel and it has helped a lot.
  13. Now the pain is really more in my upper teeth. It’s not one specific tooth just the area in general. I still have my wisdom teeth. Could that cause some of my symptoms?
  14. I’m sorry I don’t really know anything about this and I don’t like to google because next thing I know I’ll have those symptoms too. I do do know that anxiety can do crazy things to your body and mind. I don’t even want to list all the things I have thought were wrong with me in the past few weeks and nothing has come of them. They have gone away and then something else takes their place. A few days ago it hit me that most of the “symptoms” I’ve been having didn’t start until a few weeks ago after my anxiety had been high for a few weeks. It’s not a coincidence that I had been fine for months and the symptoms started really showing up after my anxiety was back up. I just have to remind myself that whenever I feel something “wrong” that is most likely anxiety or heightened by the anxiety. It’s hard sometimes though when you are on the middle of it.
  15. Didn’t have a very good night. I didn’t sleep well and once when I woke up I felt like I was shaking my anxious was so bad. I also felt like I was going to throw up but I never did. I was able to calm down enough to go back to sleep. I put a heat pack on my neck and a ice pack on my face and that seems to help enough to go back to sleep. The pain/pressure is still there this morning though. Seems to move around but mostly right beside the eye and under the eye. I can also feel some pain in my upper teeth on that side. Just a achy discomfort not a toothache. I don’t have any blurry vision or double vision.
