  4. I can definitely relate to your last paragraph. Having so much to be thankful for yet kind of taking things for granted while keenly aware of it.It's hard to say if your clinically depressed or going through some ups and downs. I would definitely recommend branching out on positive new things to do. Variety is the spice of life.Good luck!

  6. For years I haven't been able to take antidepressants for unknown reasons(Terrible reactions). A couple of months ago my doctor recommended that I take a DNA/some kind of genetic breakdown test.She strongly suspects that Serotonin Syndrome may be the culprit.I will know the results in a couple of weeks. My ummmm thing is.....why wouldn't you run the test first!? Lol
  7. Are you on medication or have changed medication lately.Being afraid to go to the doctor and being looked at is a common trap set by anxiety.You'll be alright:)

    You'll be alright!I can't help but remember my first panic attack. Like getting blindsided by a bus. The good news is once you get some rest you can adapt and adjust and improve things.Once you have identified the problem you have something to work with.(I don't think anyone here has forgotten there first few panic attacks)Wishing you the best:)

  12. Hey valkyrie:)It's not exactly mindfulness but exercise and heavy physical exertion has helped me tremendously. In my experience GAD can't exist while sweating and cutting down a tree.Gl
  13. Really great nuts and bolts conversation. :)I just wanted to add a little on the subjectivity part. That's where things get tricky.Finding the right doctor for yourself is so important. A good doctor can dramatically improve your quality of life.

    Hey Reilly:)I have chronic back pain and everything Holls has said I agree with 100 percent. Comfortable shoes,Epson salt baths (Chamomile),applying hot and cold,massage therapy, accupuncture whatever works! Lol It could be something as common as a pinched nerve. Gl:)
